Healing Collective Karma
This FiK focuses on an important, challenging, and profound topic of collective karma - specifically the racial karma of the U.S.
Devi's invocation/teaching focused on attuning to the blessings of the elements and the awakened ones. Sylvia Ewing lovingly challenges us to bring the awakening energy into the tangled domain of our collective karma, slavery, and the trance of racialized consciousness. She beautifully integrates the work of Dr. Larry Ward - poet and engaged Buddhist teacher - on healing racial karma with the teachings of the Kriya lineage. Katie's chanting of the Ram mantra further the purifying fire. We end with prayers.
